Public Programs and Exhibitions Coordinator

Bernie has recently joined the ATW and is covering for Adriane Hayward whilst she is on maternity leave in the role of Public Programs & Exhibitions Coordinator.

Bernie has Bachelor of Fine Arts, Photography from the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne University and is a dedicated creative professional with many years of experience working with commercial, private, and public institutions. Previous roles include Public Programs Manager at Heide Museum of Modern Art and Deputy Director, Fehily Contemporary.

Bernie is passionate about audience engagement, programming, and partnerships. She uses excellent interpersonal skills and creative collaborations to deliver intimate projects and events that are memorable.

Bernie is also the Director and Founder of Walk to Art, a unique art experience delivering tours in Melbourne/Naarm, New York and Venice for the Biennale.
