This week we celebrate a milestone at the ATW. Chris Cochius first began weaving at the ATW on the 13th of June in 1983 (40 years ago!)

Chris studied Environmental Design, followed by Interior Design in Adelaide. In 1982 she worked on a community tapestry in the Adelaide Hills led by artist Kay Lawrence before commencing work at the ATW in 1983.

Highlights from her time working at the ATW include tapestries designed by Brook Andrew (Wiradjuri), Janet Laurence & John Wolsley.
