Jodi Heffernan’s work focuses on the texture, lights, shade and reflections found in nature, with an interest in the craft and artistry of making.
During her residency at the ATW, she explored the challenges, shared by the weavers, of translating work from one medium to another.
Jodi is a well-regarded artist and teacher with over twenty years experience. Her paintings, prints and printmedia installations have been exhibited in solo exhibitions and over thirty group exhibitions around Australia and overseas. She has won numerous acquisition awards including the Silk Cut, Geelong Print and Fremantle. Her work is represented in a long list of major collections, including the National Gallery of NSW, Arts Victoria, State Library of Victoria to name just a few.
