Pop Architecture and Hotham Street Ladies joined ATW weaver Chris Cochius for a special panel discussion at MPavilion, moderated by leading architect Peter Williams.

Pop Architecture and Hotham Street Ladies are the first prize winners of the 2018 Tapestry Design Prize for Architects. This panel talk focused on the design process for their winning design Chaos and Fertility, and also considered how tapestries had been designed throughout history to respond to space and place.

Tapestry x Architecture offered audiences an understanding of contemporary tapestry weaving as well as insights into the importance of collaboration between the ATW with living architects, designers and artists.
