Weaving Play

Image icon Weaving-Play-EDM.jpg
Saturday, March 21, 2026 to Saturday, June 20, 2026

Visit ATW for a fun, free, beginner-friendly weaving play session. Bring your friends and family and connect with the local community through the creative act of making.

Try basic weaving and experiment with a range of colourful materials, including wool offcuts, recycled fabric, and paper, with all materials provided. Slow down, connect with your neighbours, and join the tactile rebellion against screen time.

This is a drop-in session on a first-come, first-served basis. The activity takes around an hour, and there may be a short wait.

All ages welcome.

Dates:

Saturday 21 March
Saturday 11 April
Saturday 30 May
Saturday 20 June

Time:

1pm - 4pm

Cost:

Free, Materials provided

Skill Level:

No experience necessary, all ages welcome. Our team will be around to help as you explore the process.

Weaving Play is supported by Bendigo Community Bank Elwood, the Palais Theatre Community Fund, and the South Melbourne Community Chest.
