Applications for the 2027 Artists in Residence Program are now open. The Australian Tapestry Workshop’s annual residency program offers mid-career artists the chance to extend their practice through engagement with our resources.

For over 20 years, artists in residence have immersed themselves in our vibrant studio, exchanging knowledge and skills with our tapestry weavers and dye technicians. Artists are invited to further engage with local communities during their residency through exhibition and public programming.
