BA (Hons). University of Melbourne.

Nicole Newton has been involved in communication, public relations, journalism, issues management and crisis preparedness for 30 years. She now specialises in the healthcare sector, providing ongoing advice to Australia’s health regulators and specialist medical colleges.

Nicole provided strategic communications support to the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons’ Expert Advisory Group on discrimination, bullying and sexual harassment, developed RACS’ campaign, Let’s Operate With Respect and has led the communications strategy to support long term cultural and behaviour change in the surgical profession. She has worked in the corporate and philanthropic sectors and specialises in communications, stakeholder engagement, issues management and media.
