The Sir John Monash Centre was opened on 24 April 2018 by the Prime Minister the Hon Malcolm Turnbull MP.
Set on the grounds of the Villers-Bretonneux Military Cemetery in northern France, and adjacent to the Australian National Memorial, the Sir John Monash Centre tells Australia's story of the Western Front in the First World War.
It is also home to the wonderful Morning Star tapestry designed by Lyndell Brown and Charles Green woven at ATW in 2017 by Pamela Joyce, Leonie Bessant, Chris Cochius, Jennifer Sharpe and Cheryl Thornton.
