‘Threads through Art: Australian Artist Tapestries’ Bathurst Regional Art Gallery, Bathurst, NSW. 18 October – 1 December 2019.

'Threads through Art: Australian Artist Tapestries’ is a celebration of Australian art through the tapestry medium. Through this exciting exhibition BRAG audiences have the opportunity see ATW tapestries designed by Richard Larter, Janet Laurence, Ginger Riley Munduwalawala, Nell, David Noonan, John Olsen AO OBE, William Robinson, Gareth Sansom, Luke Sciberras, Arlene Textaqueen and John Wolseley.

For this exhibition Bathurst Regional Art Gallery (BRAG) and the Bathurst Regional Art Gallery Society (BRAGS) commissioned a new tapestry – ‘Bridle Track, Hill End’, designed by Luke Sciberras, and woven by Chris Cochius, Sue Batten, Amy Cornall, Karlie Hawking and Pamela Joyce.

Accompanying the exhibition was an in conversation between ATW Director, Antonia Syme, ATW weaver Christ Cochius and local artist Heather Dunn. .
